I am based in the beautiful country of South Africa and I'm inspired by the beauty that surrounds me; from the veiny little leaf on the pavement or to the clouds tinged with pink over the Highveld horizon.
I enjoy tinkering about with petals and paint, and that is how this blog came about; I just had to track my attempts. When I'm not laughing at my mishaps on my craft table, you can find me surrounded by my books, visiting a new coffee shop, getting pampered, reading a book on neuropsychology or whipping up a batch of cupcakes. I used to be a law student until I realised how much I truly disliked it. Currently, I'm a volunteer counsellor at an NGO and I love it!
So, I guess you must be wondering why I chose the name 'The Lucky Packet'?

Well, it has a hint of nostalgia. I love reminiscing over days gone by and buying Lucky Packet's with my dad was one of my favourite things to do as a kid. Lucky Packet's are wonderful as you're always pleasantly surprised at what you're going to find inside, and I guess that's what I'm hoping that this blog can achieve.
I've been blogging since 2006 and have deleted and created many blogs.

I can take a long time to contribute to a blog post, but I'm hoping that can change.
